Zepbound illness diary and message builder

Log each day of the illness until you feel well, then use the checklist to write one clear message to whoever prescribes your Zepbound. The diary shows recovery in numbers (times you vomited, fluids kept down, temperature), which is more useful to the prescriber than a single good day.

Label points worth quoting in the message

  • Vomiting, diarrhea and nausea can cause dehydration, which can lead to kidney problems.[1]
  • The label asks prescribers to monitor kidney function when side effects could cause fluid loss.[1]
  • Taking insulin or a sulfonylurea with Zepbound raises the risk of low blood sugar.[1]
  • In the weight trials, severe stomach and bowel reactions affected 1.7% to 3.1% of patients across doses, against 1% on placebo.[1]
  • Anyone planning a procedure for you should be told that you take Zepbound.[1]

Put these in the message

  • Last dose strength and date
  • How many scheduled injections you missed
  • Which symptoms remain and when they last happened
  • What you can eat and drink today
  • Where you were seen, and any test results
  • Any medicine started, stopped or changed
  • The question: when, and at what dose, should I restart?

Skip the message and get care now for

  • Fluids will not stay down: the dehydration can lead to kidney problems.[1]
  • Belly pain that is severe or keeps going, sometimes into the back.[1]
  • A swollen face, lips, tongue or throat, or difficulty breathing.[1]
