Weekly injury-recovery log for training on a tendon, ligament or muscle injury
Track the same few measures each week, at the same time of day, so you and your clinician can see whether the injury is actually improving. It also lists the signs that need a prompt call and what the evidence and anti-doping rules say about BPC-157.

Call your clinician promptly if
- Pain suddenly worsens after a period of improvement
- There is swelling or heat at the injury or injection site
- You notice new numbness, tingling or weakness in a limb
What the evidence and the rules say
- FDA's briefing for the July 23-24, 2026 advisory committee states that BPC-157 is on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list, under non-approved substances (S0).[1]
- A systematic review of studies published to June 3, 2024 found 35 preclinical studies and 1 clinical study for musculoskeletal injury, and no clinical safety data.[2]
- BPC-157 was nominated for tendonitis, but FDA did not identify clinical studies of it in tendonitis.[1]
- FDA found no human pharmacokinetic data for BPC-157 taken by mouth, under the skin, nasally or on the skin.[1]
- The review's authors advise that athletes check their organization's medication and testing rules.[2]
For your sports medicine clinician or physical therapist
- Does this injury need surgical repair rather than rehab alone?
- What load progression fits this stage of healing?
- Which functional test should decide when I return to full training?
- Am I subject to anti-doping testing, and what does that rule out?
